COACHING ELIGIBILITY FOR 2016 BC Winter GAMES:
Head Coach for all BC Winter Games teams must be Competition Introduction (CI) Certified. Assistant Coaches must be at least CI Trained (have successfully completed both classroom components of CI). All Ringette Teams in BC Winter Games must have a qualified female coach on the bench.
Coaching credentials are housed at www.coachingringette.ca. Please check this website to ensure your data is correct. If not, contact Colin or Janssen at the BC Ringette Office.
Final team selections need to be completed by January 18, 2014.

Officiating at BC Winter Games is an ideal opportunity for officials who wish to continue their development and officiating career. BCRA's provincial Officiating Committee is responsible for final selection of BC Games officials. Every effort will be made to ensure regional officiating representation.
Must be a registered BCRA official for 2015-2016 Season
Minimum Ranking: 2B or above
Must have at least one Level 3 Evaluation
Must be nominated by your Association Referee in Chief to the BC Director Of Officials

BC Games Society Meetings for Zone Parent/Player/ Coaches
BC Games Society will be running sessions in each Zone of the province to help your athletes, parents, and coaches prepare for an optimal experience at the 2016 BC Winter Games.
The G2G sessions will be held in February 2016 in various locations throughout the province, as stated in the table, but the exact locations will be posted soon at: (Information will be sent to your ZONE REP and your PSO as soon as available.)
BC GAMES SOCIETY Announces Re-drafting of the BC Games Zone Boundaries
The province is divided into eight zones for the purposes of the BC Games. The BC GAMES SOCIETY released the newly re-drawn zone boundaries in May 2015 and the new zones do have a significant impact on Ringette. A summary of the changes is as follows:
Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Surrey, South Surrey, White Rock move from Fraser Valley Zone (3) to Fraser River-Delta Zone (4)
Richmond, Delta, North Delta, Tsawwassen move from Fraser River-Delta Zone (4) to Vancouver-Squamish (5)
Zone 4 name changes to Fraser River (formerly Fraser River-Delta)
Zone 5 name changes to Vancouver-Coastal (formerly Vancouver-Squamish)
