The Ringfish Project

Have you heard about the Ringfish Project? Wondering what a Ringfish is? You've come to the right place! We've all heard about the use of video-analysis in sport, and BC Ringette has been using Dartfish software to take this to the next level using the following technology.

• StroMotion - frame by frame capture from a video (see image below)
• SimulCam - overlay athletes performing the same skill at different times (see video below)
• Analyzer - similar to features in MS Paint, can be used for data and statistical analysis
• InTheAction - live video feedback for instant analysis during a practice or game
• MediaBooks - allowing online presentation of skill analysis and feedback

Coming soon you can check out the powerpoint presentation that BC Ringette did at the Ringette Canada AGM. It has a great overview of the program as well as some amazing clips of ringette and other sports.
